Akins Estate Fire Restoration
This property has been home to many prominent figures throughout the years including Carl G. Fisher, who was successful in the early days of automobile manufacturing and later became a prominent figure in the Miami real estate market. The beautiful 3/4 inch pine walls and other wood surfaces were badly damaged by smoke and fire. Ray Daly was called upon to remove the damaged wood, replace it with wood of the same grade and type, and then refinish it with stain to match the original wood.
